Think Ukraine Presented Its Areas of Work to the Ambassador of Indonesia

Think Ukraine Event

On April 16, the Think Ukraine team met with Arif Muhammad Basalamah, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Ukraine. During the meeting, the center introduced itself as an independent analytical organization and outlined its main areas of work.

The team presented the center’s key focus areas, including security and defense, public governance, social research, international policy, recovery, and reforms. The discussion also highlighted Think Ukraine’s approach to its work: evidence-based analysis, an in-house research program, closed briefings for stakeholders, and public publications for a broader audience.

Part of the conversation focused on the role of think tanks in building horizontal ties between Ukraine and countries of the Global South. Indonesia is one of the key countries in the region and a member of the G20, consistently supporting Ukraine’s territorial integrity within international institutions. For partners like Indonesia, independent Ukrainian analytical expertise can serve as an important source of objective information about developments inside the country.

Think Ukraine plans to further develop cooperation with diplomatic missions as one of the center’s priority направленияs in international communication.
