Articles

Corruption remains one of Ukraine’s key challenges even during wartime. This is reflected in the findings of a study conducted by the analytical center Think Ukraine.

Public demand for combating corruption remains among the highest priorities in society.

Research findings:

  • 90.5% consider corruption to be one of the country’s main problems.
  • 34.4% identify the fight against corruption as the government’s top priority.

Other priorities identified by respondents:

  • 33.9% — returning prisoners of war
  • 31.9% — development of the defense-industrial complex
  • 28.5% — economic development

*Respondents could select multiple answers.

What this means: even under wartime conditions, Ukrainians are not willing to postpone the fight against corruption. It remains one of the key criteria by which the effectiveness of the government is judged.

What should be taken into account: ignoring this public demand could undermine trust in state institutions. Combating corruption remains a fundamental condition for stability.
